When we were out exploring Denton,  we came across Vinyl Lounge and are so excited to share this hidden gem with you! When you step inside you will be immediately transported to a much groovier time and place that will give you all the nostalgic feels. The music, the vibe, the decor, the cocktails… everything was 10/10!

Every corner of this cocktail lounge is carefully curated with the vibrant decor mixing the swinging 60’s era in London and the disco culture of 70’s… it is truly something else! When you walk in you’re immediately transported back in time and are surrounded by colorful fringe hanging from every corner, vinyl records lining the walls, disco balls hanging from the ceiling, and the coolest vibrant furniture filling the space. The music was definitely on point as well, and all of it is played straight from their expansive library of vinyl, which features more than 1,600 records that are displayed throughout the space.

Cocktails

All of their cocktails are very on brand with names like Bootsy Collins, The Fab Four and our favorite, The Selena! If you’re feeling adventurous we definitely recommend trying their absinthe cocktail, which they make right in front you. It’s really cool to watch! Pro tip: if you want to enjoy a night out in Denton without having to worry about how you’re getting home, you can take the A-train all the way from Dallas to Denton. The best part is, it drops you off within walking distance of the Vinyl Lounge!

Special Nights

If you’re looking for a Sunday Funday, they do karaoke from 8 PM - 2 AM every Sunday night! On Tuesdays they have BYOV night (Bring Your Own Vinyl), and on Wednesdays they have what they call ‘vending at vinyl,’ where local artisans and vendors set up little pop up shops inside the bar.
