As you explore the streets, make sure to stop and appreciate the various murals! A few to note are Texas Petals Twist, Giant Appetite and Founding Natives (pictured). They add a lot of personality to the city and make for photo-op musts! Strolling through Old Town you'll find plenty (even behind some of the buildings)! Bendt Distilling makes great whiskey using local ingredients and offers 45-minute tours of the distillery on Fridays and Saturdays. After the tour, enjoy their tasting hall, lounge and whiskey garden and take part in their happy hour from 7-10 pm! If you'd like a private tour for a big group, you can book one for $20/person at a $360 minimum. What a unique and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion!

Wayne Ferguson Plaza is home to three free weekly fitness classes! Yoga in the plaza is every Wednesday at 6pm, Pilates in the Plaza is hosted every Thursday at 6pm, and Tai Chi Ch'uan Essentials is hosted every Saturday at 9:30am. Classes are open to all levels, and make sure to check the website for materials to bring.

Sullivan Texas BBQ is your go-to for some genuine barbecue! They're closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, but every other day they offer up some delicious plates. No matter if you're treating yourself to a meal or going with a party of 20, they have just what you're looking for. If you're taking 8-10 people, order The Family, and if you're taking 18-20, order The Reunion. The more the merrier!

What better way to top off your tour of the city than with a glass of wine? Head to Old Town Wine House or Larue Winery to get your fix! The grapes for Larue wine are harvested in Chile and California, and they're a perfect addition to any celebration. If you're looking to grab some food during your wine break, Old Town Wine House has full lunch and dinner menus (pro tip: order the cheese boards on the dinner menu)!

If you're looking for something a little different, a ghost tour might just be for you! Psychic medium Cindy Ross leads Gateway Ghost Tours and interprets communication from the dead. Tours take place on various Saturdays at 8pm, and tickets start at $30.

There's nothing like oversized pancakes for breakfast or for a little pick-me-up! At Seven Mile Cafe, you can order cinnamon roll pancakes, strawberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes and more! And if you're sticking to a vegan or gluten-free diet, they've got you covered. They close at 2 pm on weekdays and 2:30 pm on weekends, and you can get in line on Yelp!

The Lewisville Grand Art Gallery has over 300 feet of exhibit walls with beautiful art! The 2,200 square foot space is used for local, regional and touring exhibitions. When you visit, make sure to explore not only the main art gallery but also the North Corridor Gallery located in the hallway of the Education Wing. Admission is free, and art can be viewed Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm.

Did you really explore a new area if you didn't purchase a momento? Flourish is a great stop for some gifts, whether they're for you or for someone else. Main Street Merc, next door to Perc Coffeehouse, is a husband and wife owned boutique with home decor, gifts and other vintage goods. Beasley's Fine Jewelry is a third-generation jewelry store and boutique, and their doors have been open since 1948! Old Town Lewisville is ready to be your retail therapy!
