Established in 1961 just north of Houston, Atkinson Farms is a 100-acre, 4th generation family owned and operated farm in Spring, Texas! They grow everything from blackberries to strawberries to watermelons. They grow over 60 different vegetables year-round and sell to several local restaurants in the Houston area, like Frank's Americana Revival and Revival Market. They also have a market on-site, where you can purchase fresh produce, salsas, and other homemade goods!

Pick-Your-Own Produce

Their picking season goes from March 1st to mid June, so if you want to pick your own produce make sure to plan your visit around those months! You can bring your own basket for picking or purchase one onsite for $1.50. When we visited picking season had just ended, but we were still able to pick our own beautiful flowers in the flower field and purchase goodies from the market! Although we recommend visiting in the Spring during picking season, we still had a blast on our visit, and the pics were 10/10!

The Market

Make sure to stop in their little mom-and-pop market filled with all the fruits, veggies, and homemade goodies made straight from the farm! Inside you’ll find everything from their own beef, salsas, and even homemade queso!

Planning Your Visit

The farm is open March 1st through October 31st, Monday-Saturday from 10 AM - 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 2 PM. They don’t have an Instagram, so make sure to check their Facebook before you go for the most up-to-date info on what is in season and what you can pick yourself!
