Together with his son and daughter, the trio created Belfour Spirits which was officially unveiled in October of 2019. Quality ingredients are what it's all about at Black Eyed Distilling! Their non-GMO black-eyed peas and corn are 100% sourced from Texas to provide a truly local, farm-to-bottle vodka experience. The idea behind Black Eyed Distilling came from a terrible drought in Muleshoe, Texas where a sad crop turned into the first vodka distilled from black eyed peas that was first introduced in 2016. Their original take in vodka is distilled 22 times and uses charcoal filtration to cut out the burn felt with other vodkas.
Their tasting room and cocktail bar are open Friday from 5-9pm and Saturday 2-9pm. You can take part in a distillery tour any Saturday at 3pm!

Blackland was founded in 2019 by a lawyer-turned-chef-turned-distiller to bring us locally sourced spirits! And its brick-and-mortar, where you can sip these spirits or enjoy them in craft cocktails, offers a sleek and intimate space with a lounge, bar and tasting room, along with a patio so you can sip outside! And bites are offered by grazing board maker Meyer and Sage!
The cocktails are all house-made and locally sourced, from the juices to bitters to infusions. And the distillery is open Thursday-Saturday.
