We love a good theme, and at Celestial Brewing, they take their space theme to a whole new level! From bar decor and murals to the names of the beers like “Electromagnetism” or “Newton’s 1st Lager,” the off-the-beaten-path brewery is a combination of the owners’ favorite things: art, science and beer! You’ll find deals on your drinks every Monday through Wednesday, trivia every Thursday, fitness classes every Saturday, special events and a wide variety of drinks to-go!

Why We Love It: Because they are repping the Medical District, which doesn’t get nearly enough attention or cool places as it should given how many people work in the area!

Community Beer Company is one of the biggest independent breweries in Dallas….and for good reason! Not only does this brewery produce some of the best city brews, it stays true to its name by involving the whole community with its property in the Design District. Find everything from fitness events to beer meet ups to weekly Geeks Who Drink trivia. And everyone is invited in, even your pets!

Tour Info: Free tours every Saturday and Sunday!

Why We Love It: One Mosaic and you are good for the night. And because of their dog-friendly indoor space.

Another Deep Ellum gem, this iconic brewery is easily recognizable by its colorful cans and Mr. Smiley logo. With their year-round and seasonal beers, DEBC’s beers have become staples all across Texas restaurants. However, seeing where all the magic happens on St. Louis Street is an experience for the books. They usually host brewery tours every Saturday, but they have been temporarily suspended because of COVID and we can't wait for them to resume.

Why We Love It: DEBC’s beers are classic, yet unique. They have mastered the art of taking simple flavors and crafting them to perfection.

Just south of Dallas, in a converted Carriage House in the Cedars, you can find the unique Four Corners taproom and it’s artfully crafted (and designed) brews. Four Corners sees itself as a place where diverse people from all cultures can come together for their love of craft beer. They also host trivia every Sunday at 5pm! Unique flavors, and people, come together in the open concept taproom on Ervay St.

Tour Info: Free tours on Saturdays and Sundays

Why We Love It: From honey ale, grapefruit and peach and from oatmeal to s’mores, they have the most unique specialty brews!

Whether you're looking to brunch, grab a coffee or enjoy some live music with a beer in hand, Manhattan Project Beer has got you covered! They have fried chicken that is made with gluten-free flour, a Thai spice and then fried in beef tallow, and they have a Arepas, a traditional south African dish, but they make it with Necessary Evil instead of water!

Why We Love It: They have live music every Sunday and Wednesday, in addition to other events throughout the week, not to mention $4 beer every Monday!

Outfit Brewery opened its doors in an old industrial warehouse in August of 2018. With a logo as simple as their flavors, Outfit Brewery has made a name for itself in the art of minimalist beer. Stop in to enjoy a unique Saison, Cream Ale, NEIPA, or any of their other crafts – we promise you’ll be glad you did.

Why We Love It: Almost hidden, this brewery is a gem in the wall and worth the hunt. The whole ambience of the warehouse is simple, laid back and nostalgic.

When you want to grab a beer and play some games with your friends, Oak Highlands is exactly where you want to go! They have shuffle board, corn hole, ping pong and a foosball table in the back. They have a large glass window along the brewing area, so you enjoy your drink with a view!

Why We Love It: Their beer has won countless awards since 2015! Their website lists all the awards they've won through 2018,  and we highly suggest taking a look at them!

Located just outside of Bishop Arts is Oak Cliff Brewing Co, with a biergarten-styled taproom and original, Insta-worthy murals! Their actual biergarten outside is the perfect place to grab a picnic table and enjoy your beverage. They open at 4 Wednesday through Friday, at 11 on Saturdays and at 12 on Sundays.

Why We Love It: The string lights over a nighttime biergarten create a cozy evening atmosphere. Also, the original murals inside by Jeff Rogers bring so much life and personality to this brewery, and they're perfect for your Instagram!

Conveniently located near Love Field, On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen offers everything from small batch brews, a craft beer bar, and restaurant. Their full kitchen serves the best bites and has something for everyone including our gluten-free friends! What's even better is they offer select wines, hard seltzers, ciders, and more in addition to their beers.

Why we love it: Their constant variety of brews to choose from (over 40 rotating taps!), plus an amazing patio and outdoor space to enjoy their menu on!

You’ve seen the infamous red Pegasus all over Dallas, but Pegasus City Brewery brings new hype to the flying horse by creating #PorchApproved beers that take flight. Each of their brews are accompanied with a description and their perfect pairings such as “steak, smooth jazz and conspiracy theories” or “Texas BBQ, golden retrievers, and the American Dream.”

Why We Love It: Pegasus City Brewery reigns king of the classics. Their beers are timeless, and their flavors set the standard for simple, full-bodied brews.

Firstly, the Velvet Hammer is worth the trip alone! And secondly, this Design District brewery cares a lot about their beer. In fact, it started more as a passion project than anything, as Michael Peticolas grew up watching his mom make Mexican style beer at home. But a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) for the Royal Scandal, followed by a “Best Brewery in America” recognition by the US Open Beer Championship helped Peticolas gain notoriety and cement its place on Dallas’s list of best breweries!

Tours: $10, the first and third Saturday of every month from 1-3pm!

Why We Love It: For its super fun environment with foosball, VR games, board games, and more! And soccer lovers rejoice, as the Peticolas team loves watching “football.”

Texas Ale Project is not only a taproom but also a beer garden located in the Design District! They're open every day but Monday, and they offer live music and beer to-go.

Why We Love It: This is the ultimate event space! They offer all of their spaces, the tap room, indoor brewery and beer garden, for rent for private events, and if you really want to go all out, you can use the entire brewery! They also have numerous services including event staffing, audio/visual production and valet parking services, to name a few, and numerous amenities like a projector and screen, bar games and more!

Trinity Cider Co. brings delicious hard cider to the heart of Deep Ellum in its rustic looking spot on the corner of Main Street and Pryor. Unlike typical sweet ciders, Trinity brews their drinks with champagne yeast, which brings the sugar content down to virtually zero. If you’re in the mood to have your taste buds rocked, stop in for a crisp, bubbly pour of their Northwestern styled cider.

Why We Love It: The location is well-worth the visit. Boasting exposed bricks, unique lighting and a wall of fermentation tanks behind the bar – Trinity Cider Co. is as much for the cider enthusiast as it is for the Dallasite explorer.

In the heart of Deep Ellum lies Westlake Brewing Company, which entered the scene with beers, bites, and events for everyone. On Mondays they honor those in the service industry with drink specials, and they parties and private events just for you!

Why We Love It: They are serious about their fun! Westlake hosts game night at 7pm every Tuesday, social runs and trivia night from 7:30-9:30 every Wednesday and free yoga (BYOMat) every Saturday from 10-11am!

It’s an alehouse, it’s a brewery, it’s a good time in a great location. WRAB has the local, hometown sports bar feel, with the craft beers and delicious food of a high-end restaurant. Their motto, “All Trails Lead to White Rock Alehouse” is symbolic of the community vibe of the spot. With a menu of their own brewed beers, as well as touches from the Texas—specifically East Dallas—community, the location is the perfect spot to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. The alehouse also offers “beer-to-go” with special growlers, crowlers and kegs starting at $70.

Why We Love It: WRAB is able to put their twist on any classic beer and make it delicious. With unique beers like their Peanut Butter Jammies and the Sporting Turtle among all of their other endless drinks, you are never short on flavor at White Rock Alehouse & Brewery.
