Chelsea Corner is a great place for a group of any size! They have great food, great drinks, and a great patio, so come early and stay late. They’re sure to blare some amazing 90s jams that are perfect for dancing and singing along. Don’t like to dance? That’s cool, too -- their patio is full of comfy lawn furniture for non-dancers or anyone who needs a break from busting a move!
This spot sure does add some flair to Deep Ellum! Some nights, you’ll see people movin’ and groovin’ to cumbia; other nights people will be jammin’ to hip-hop, and sometimes, you’ll find avant-garde experimental music! Regardless of your taste in music, you’re guaranteed a good time at Ruins. Their cocktails are great, too!
If you’re a home-grown Texan through and through, Cowboys Red River is the place for you! Wednesday nights they teach West Coast Swing, and Thursdays and Fridays are two-step lessons, all at 7:00. If you’re already a seasoned professional, come late-night to dance it out or battle with your friends and fellow cowfolk. Grab your boots and hats and get to Red River!
Whether you call it “Off the Record” or “OTR,” this is one of our favorite spots for late night dancing! From House to R&B, OTR is always throwing down (literally, almost every night of the week). It’s a record store by day, a dance floor by night, and definitely not your average club scene. Grab your dancing shoes and your crew, and make your way to Deep Ellum for a great time!
If you’ve been in Dallas for awhile, you’ve probably been to the famous Station 4 (better known as S4). If you’re new, then get there ASAP! This spot is always a good time; they have drag shows, a huge dance floor, and they stay open until 4 AM! And, Facebook says that this is Texas’ number 1 gay dance club, so it MUST be true.
This Latin American Café has delicious food, unique drinks, and a great atmosphere. You can dance the night away every Thursday-Sunday! As their website states, “The fiery Latin vibes are a staple for us every Thursday with Elm Street Latin, Friday with ETX, Saturday with DJ Noe G, and Sunday night continues with Noe G!” Don’t need food? That’s ok, too; you can make a VIP late-night reservation. Details are on their website!
Live in North Dallas? Gloria’s in Addison is one of the most popular places to go late-night dancing! Once dinner ends, the fun begins! Dress to impress and wear your dancing shoes, because local DJs and Latin bands will be throwing down every Friday and Saturday until 2 AM! There is a dress code, so make sure you check the website for details before you and your squad get ready.
Regardless of when you get the itch to dance, Round-Up has you covered! They offer dance lessons Mondays-Thursdays at 8:30 and 10:00 PM, and a dance party on the weekends! Whether you prefer two-step, salsa, or something entirely different, Round-Up welcomes all types of dancing. The Round-Up Saloon and Dance Hall recently celebrated 34 years in Dallas as the nation’s best gay country western dance hall!
This spot could almost be classified as a music venue rather than a dance club, but we wanted to make sure y’all knew about it! On Friday and Saturday nights, you can find DJs of all types spinning and mixing dance music. Depending on the night, you can fine Hip Hop, EDM, and Indie. They have a full schedule on their website, so if you’re picky about the genre, make sure to check it out before you go!
Another hot spot in North Dallas is Al-Amir. This spot is a Lebanese restaurant by day and a party by night! Thursdays are all night happy hour, Fridays are Bollywood night with two DJs and belly dancers, Saturdays are International night with DJ Trance and DJ Bez, and Sundays are Latino night with DJ Christian and DJ Reilly. Sundays are also all-night happy hour and free admission for ladies! Al-Amir is open until 2 AM Thursday-Sunday.
If latin and hip-hop music are your jam. then you need to check out Yellow Rosa! Their dancing starts at 10 pm every Friday and Saturday and DJ Smooth is on the track. Grab a coocktail or enjoy their bottle service and get your groove on!
Whipersnapper is a 70's dancing haven! From the strung christmas lights to the cheetah pool table to the photobooth, there's nothing about The Whip that's not unique. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from 6pm to 2 am, so grab your friends and boogie on over!
Mr. Misster is a cocktail lounge off Cedar Springs that turns into a go-to for late night fun. Their DJ, bright lighting and drinks make the perfect recipe for fun dancing until 2 am on the weekends! They also have drag brunch every Saturday at 2 pm, so you can enjoy your afternoons and late nights here!
Newly reopened KSP is a neighborhood eatery by day and a fun-filled venue by night. On Fridays and Saturdays from 10 pm to 2 am they have a live DJ and their signature Jell-O syringe shots! If you love what you see, you can even book KSP for private events and parties.
