LILY'S CAFE
We stopped by for breakfast and asked our server for his go-to recs and he did not disappoint! The El Chapín and the Campesino Omelette came out hot and freshly made, both packed with flavor and topped with the cutest mini Guatemalan flag!
🍳 El Chapín: Two eggs with Guatemalan chorizo and grilled veggies, served with black beans, queso fresco, and Guatemalan crema
🌶️ Campesino Omelette: Ham, tomato, onion, and jalapeño, topped with ranchera salsa and served with traditional sides
🥤We also sipped on fresh-squeezed orange juice (a very generous pour!) and a warm cup of black coffee
DON’T SKIP THE TASCALES
Our favorite dish? The Tascales, aka sweet corn cakes wrapped in banana leaves and served with Guatemalan crema and queso fresco. They were seriously SO good.
