HOPEBOY'S KITCHEN

Not only is the food here amazing, but so is their story! Four years ago, after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, owner Rico decided to go vegan and started sharing his food creations online. What started as cooking for himself turned into selling meals to friends, then meeting up with customers, and eventually saving enough to launch his own food truck in Oak Cliff. Now, he’s serving up creative, plant-based soul food while making healthy options more accessible to the community!

100% VEGAN SOUL FOOD

Hopeboy’s Kitchen is putting a plant-based twist on comfort food like chicken alfredo, mac and cheese, and even seafood boils —dishes we didn’t even know could be vegan, yet somehow taste just as good as the real thing! Their menu rotates daily, so check their Instagram to see what’s available!

P.S. They’re open until they sell out, so get there early if you have your eye on something specific.
