Craving some dumplings? Luckily there's a never ending list of options in Dallas, and we are spotlighting the few best that we have on rotation when in need!

ROYAL CHINA

ROYAL CHINA

A Dallas go-to, Royal China serves some delicious handroll dumplings, like to die for dumplings! You can even watch the ladies make the dumplings right in front of you! So by the time you finally get to eat them, the anticipation is eating away at you. We definitely suggest you order the soup dumplings along with the mixed platter of shrimp, pork and veggie dumpling. And then finish off with dessert dumplings, which are as good as they sound!

JENG CHI

JENG CHI

Jeng Chi sits in a shopping center with other Asian restaurants, markets and stores, and is definitely the more authentic when comparing to Royal China. You can order dishes from jellyfish to marinated pork ear to 11 types of soup noodles, and serve 16 different types of dumplings from boiled to steamed to “juicy” and with a range of different meats and vegetables. So since we suggest that you try everything, it might be best that you go with a group and a chow down!

MOMO SHACK

MOMO SHACK

Momo Shack makes Nepali dumplings and unfortunately do not have a storefront so you must follow them on Instagram for their pop ups. And get there early as they do sell out! They’re that popular! So if you are asking yourself what momo’s actually are, well they are of course a dumpling but the insides are a little different! They are filled with fresh vegetables, cilantro, cabbage, and onions! They are amazing! But if you want to find out where their next location will be, then head over to their website and check out their calendar!

HELLO DUMPLING

HELLO DUMPLING

And lastly, this modern and clean Lakewood spot is one of our favorites! Their dumplings are divine (enough for one man from Waco to make the trip just to taste them - true story) and their noodle soups are the perfect cure to the cold winter.  They have two types of dumplings: pork with Napa cabbage and chicken with mushroom. And they are both amazing, we usually order both and we highly suggest you do the same!

MOMO STOP

MOMO STOP

Momo Stop sits inside a place you would never expect to find some of the best dumplings: a Texaco gas station! Walk in, pull up a bar stool and wait for your perfectly arranged Nepalese momos. The red chili sauce served in the middle is phenomenal, and the momos come in five varieties, with three flavors each: chicken, veg or pork. And they’re all under $8, for 10 dumplings! You can also order other Nepalese dishes from curries to wings to chilis and a whole lot more!
