BOWEN HOUSE

Have a date night for the books in one of Dallas' most historic homes! One of the coziest spots in Dallas, Bowen House is the perfect combination of charming and upscale. The bar is inside a gorgeous little Victorian home, where you can sip cocktails under chandeliers. Stop by for a pre-date night drink, a nightcap, or share an array of delicious bites and hang out all night!

Hailing from NYC, Carbone is famous for amazing pasta and upscale vibes! Stepping inside, you'll instantly be transported to the coast of Italy. Head to the lounge area for more intimate Venetian vibes, or dine in the bright and airy dining room. Experience a tasting dinner to remember! Choose between a four-course or 12-course tasting menu, which is a gastronomic experience by Chef Casey La Rue and decadent desserts by his wife, Amy La Rue. Pair dinner with wine to set the mood during your culinary journey. It's one of the best modern fine dining restaurants you'll find in Dallas, and your date surely won't be disappointed either!

DAKOTA'S STEAKHOUSE

For a swanky night out on the town, head underground! Step inside a gold elevator and into the iconic Dakota's Steakhouse, which has been an upscale date night establishment for over 40 years. The atmosphere is lively yet intimate, and their food will truly blow you and your date away. You can enjoy a variety of steaks and seafood, paired with an incredible wine selection!

DRAKE’S HOLLYWOOD

One of our favorite recent restaurant openings, Drake’s Hollywood is the picture-perfect place for a sexy and intimate evening. The whole restaurant feels like you’ve stepped inside a speakeasy and the red leather booths, oversized plants, and red lighting make your whole dining experience seem private. We love it because although it’s a glamours evening, they’re actually known for their huge pizzas and 24-later strawberry cake. And of course the instagrammable moment outside by the neon!

FACHINI

Dallas’s father of Italian cuisine truly outdid himself when he created this Highland Park Village restaurant that features classic Italian dishes in an atmosphere that feels like you are in the middle of Manhattan. The beautiful restaurant is located above the movie theatre, making it feel even more discrete and intimate. Whether you go for drinks at the bar or stay for rigatoni alla vodka or the 100-layer lasagna, you cannot go wrong.

GEORGIE

Created by Food Network Chef Curtis Stone, Georgie is the perfect spot for an elegant date night! The quaint restaurant features warm lighting, velvet seating, a gorgeous bar, and of course, amazing food. The creative menu is focused on sustainable, high-quality ingredients, with lots of European-inspired dishes. They also have a six-course tasting menu and caviar options, if you're looking for an extra fancy date night!

GEMMA

One of our favorite all-around great experiences is the Dallas gem, Gemma, located on Henderson Avenue. The aesthetic is more coastal and casual but the vibe is always great and lively. The food is upscale American flare with an amazing braised rabbit pasta, oysters, and burrata dish with broccolini, grapefruit, and prosciutto. We love sitting on the patio or at one of their intimate 2-top tables.

JALISCO NORTE

Another great authentic Mexican restaurant and lucky for us, they have the perfect setting for a romantic evening. And nothing is more romantic than their “tree room” located off to the right side of the restaurant! You are surrounded by a clear glass view of trees covered in lights, it definitely sets the romantic mood. Their food is outstanding and has something for everyone!

JAVIER'S

A classic for upscale Mexican food in Dallas, Javier's features dishes inspired by Mexico City, a swanky cigar bar, and stunning greenery throughout the restaurant. Cozy up in one of the dimly lit dining rooms, or have a relaxing date night on their gorgeous patio!

One of the most romantic-cozy restaurants in Dallas, Mercat transports you to France with its undeniably charming bistro interior adorned with warm wood fixtures, soft velvets, and authentic French trinkets littered throughout the restaurant.  We love the Parisian atmosphere, and the comfort food, intimate patio, and wines only add to it.

Mister Charles

Located in the old Highland Park Soda Fountain building, Mister Charles is a truly breathtaking space! Depending on the vibe for your night, you can dine on either the "Angel" side, which is brighter and more lively, or the "Devil" side, which is darker and more intimate. The food draws inspiration from another iconic Duro Hospitality spot, The Charles, featuring upscale dishes meant to share!

MONARCH

Head on up to the 49th floor of the Thompson Hotel for an unforgettable date night at Monarch! Here, you'll find amazing skyline views, classy decor, and out-of-this-world, wood-fired Italian fare. The dim lighting and elaborate design accents really add to the romantic vibe while you and your date enjoy handmade pasta, steaks, and fresh seafood!

RH ROOFTOP

Have a date night atop a furniture store -- yes, a furniture store! The RH Rooftop Restaurant is located atop Restoration Hardware, an upscale furniture store on Knox Street. Naturally, the interior design touches here are picturesque, and the space is filled to the brim with beautiful greenery. We've even seen a few proposals take place here -- so you know it's bringing all the romance!

Sister restaurants to Gemma, Sachet is a perfect mix of trendy and intimate all in one. The Mediterranean-inspired pairs perfectly with the airy and coastal decor and of course, the vibrant tile offers an even more unique atmosphere. We love their ever-changing menu with savory pastas, interesting salads, kebabs, and steaks,

TANGO ROOM

With room for only 60 people, Tango Room is a dark, intimate and glamorous date night spot. Your date is sure to be impressed upon arrival -- getting in feels like walking into an elusive speakeasy! There's no sign outside, and the building is pretty unassuming, but inside you'll find incredible artwork and dishes like lobster, pasta, steak, and more. A martini here is a must!

TE DESEO

If you’re looking for a vibrant space, head to the Latin-inspired Te Deseo in the Harwood District. Te Deseo, which means “I wish you,” is a romantic, swanky restaurant with an impressive menu. Find fancy takes on classic Mexican dishes including brisket quesadillas, flautas, tacos, and steaks. Post-dinner, travel upstairs to the trendy rooftop to enjoy a DJ, specialty cocktails, dancing, and stunning views of Downtown!

TERILLI'S

When we posted about Lower Greenville decades old gem, Terilli's on our Instagram, we noticed the sheer number of comments from people saying that they either went on a first date with their significant other there, or got engaged there. It is really cool to see how many memories of love have been made at Terilli's and it makes sense with its white table cloth meets Art Deco interior. Go on the weekends for a live piano player to serenade the main room, or take your date to the rooftop for excellent views while sipping on Espresso Martinis and enjoying traditional Italian fare.

THE CHARLES

Go for: Exquisite Italian food and expertly designed interior! Want to feel like you’re having a meal on an island somewhere dreamy and remote? The Charles reminds us of an upscale, tropical oasis with exotic plant prints adorning the walls giving us major Miami vibes. They have a few dining rooms each offering a different vibe, including the pictured trendy and sultry lounge.

THE FRENCH ROOM

The French Room is probably one of the most stunning restaurants in Dallas. Located inside the iconic Adolphus Hotel downtown, walking into the French Room feels like walking into a fairy tale castle. We love dining here for tea, cocktails, or an elevated cuisine with salmon, pastas, and delicate desserts. Make your way to the French Room Bar for an even more elegant and chic experience.

THE MANSION

Head to the beautiful Rosewood Mansion any time of day for a taste of gourmet eats, and romance! There truly isn't a bad seat in the house here, from the patio to the luxe dining room to the elaborate, cozy fireplace!

Have a date night in Mexico City, right here in Dallas! Tequila lovers will truly fall in love with this spot, which features insanely creative margaritas and over 300 agave sips to try. To eat, try any of their bone marrow dishes which are truly dinner and a show!

TULUM

With a name that is solely dedicated to the boho Mexican coastal town, you might assume the interior would give off those eco-tropical vibes. And you would be right, except add a bit of upscale Dallas atmosphere and design to it. The grand bar wraps around the entire front part of the lounge, complete with tropical plant wallpaper, and dark, Moroccan-meets-Indian lounge seating. It’s one of the coolest restaurants in terms of restaurant design!

TOWN HEARTH

This restaurant is ridiculous and we mean that in the best way. From the huge fish tank that houses a submarine to the vintage Ducati or maybe even the 60+ chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, this restaurant wins before any of its delicious food is even presented.

UCHI

With fresh fish being flown in daily from Japan, this is a no-brainer for a romantic yet chic spot to bring a date that is feigning sushi. The menu is inventive, and the servers are very knowledgeable in helping you pick out exactly what you need to order based on your flavor preferences.
