For anyone who has ever asked us for breweries that are kid friendly, we’ve found the ultimate spot at Vector Brewing! But it’s so much more than just a kid-friendly beer joint…Vector is also a pizzeria and a beer garden!

Updated January 2021

Located in Lake Highlands, Vector opened in April 2020 so yes, bad timing, but it persevered, offering to-go beer and pizza at the start. And luckily, support came through with the brewing going through 700 pounds of pizza and 1,500 crowlers in one Saturday night!

Craft Beer

Vector focuses on mixed-culture fermentation beer, a.k.a. a difficult and lengthy progress that creates wild and sour beers. This spot is one of the few breweries in the state to offer these specialty beers! You can still find beers you’re familiar with like lagers, ales, stouts etc. Victory also serves mead, cider, wine and seltzer that they source from other makers.

The Pizza

We love when bars offer good food, and Vector makes its pizza from scratch, making the sauces and dough in house daily. Additionally, they source meats and produce as local as possible! While we didn’t try the Angry Bee on our first visit to Vector, we can’t wait to go back for the it. It's made with Alfredo sauce, spinach, shaved habanero, edible flowers and spicy honey drizzle, and we also want to try the Forager’s Dream made with balsamic onions, kale pesto, pine nuts and chèvre.

Kid Friendly

There’s not one but two areas for your kids to play! Inside underneath the TV, they’ll find games to entertain themselves, and there are some adult games too! Outside you’ll spot a grassy area with a sign that says, “Half Pints Welcome” and some toys and space to play and run around. Overall, Vector is a great neighborhood spot perfect for a family night, a date night, a quick lunch and beer or a weekend hang on the dog friendly patio!

Events

If you're looking for a party, look no further than Vector! They host trivia, live music, ticketed beer dinners, neighborhood markets, drag shows, and monthly art classes (to give mom a break)! Check out the calendar on their website for their lineup! You can also rent out the space to host an event of your own!
