Firehouse Gastro Park is one of our favorite places in the area, and if we lived closer to Grand Prairie, you’d be able to call us regulars. But we love making the trip over, for coffee, cocktails, entertainment, great food and more. This multi-faceted complex has so much going on, and it's very cute too!

FIREHOUSE GASTRO PARK
Firehouse Gastro Park was a project with the City of Grand Prairie to develop a historic firehouse California-inspired restaurant concept. Sitting right on Main Street, Firehouse is a lot of different concepts all melded together to provide an all day food and entertainment mecca for the area!
Open bright and early at 7 AM daily, The Coffee Shoppe has a warm, vintage Spanish atmosphere with brick walls, paintings, blue details, and lots of plants. They serve Moravian Coffee in a list of standard coffee types! P.S. on Thursdays, they have karaoke at 7 PM!
Open at 11 AM daily, (except Mondays) Mama's Bar is born from Mamas-Medicine, which is an LA-based mixology company. The full-service scratch bar has Canal Club vibes (if you’ve been to The Scott in Scottsdale) with its neon sign, plant-centric decor, and boho furniture. Grab one of their four signature cocktails, or one of their 8 beers on tap, and enjoy the atmosphere!
If you’re hungry, walk up to the retro window to order a fried chicken sandwich or a burger. There’s a plethora of variations and other menu items like tacos, quesadillas, chicken wings, and more. Don’t miss the Instafamous Dirty Bird Fries, which are seasoned cajun fries loaded with Nashville fried chicken, dill slaw, comeback sauce and pickles! They also have a couple of vegetarian options and a kids menu too, so bring the whole fam!
Grab a seat on the shipping container patio and enjoy live music Thursday-Saturday from the Infinity Sound Stage! You can check out the rotating line up on their website, fhgp.info. Pro tip: check the schedule ahead of time to see which shows are ticketed!
