WALTON'S FANCY AND STAPLE
Located right in the heart of Downtown, in the cutest historic building on West 6th sandwiched in between two popular Austin bars. They not only serve food and drinks but also offer a floral shop, gifts, and a plethora of fresh baked goods! In 1969, the spot originally opened up as Walton’s Florist and Nursery and moved to its current location in 2009.
ATMOSPHERE
The exterior of Walton’s sports a huge brick wall that has made its home to a big ivy plant making it truly picturesque. The inside space has tons of natural light with tables and bar top seating. Or sit outside and people watch all the fun on 6th! Find big bakery cases, floral displays and fun branded trinkets -- this place is sure to be your favorite local bakery & delicatessen.
BREAKFAST & LUNCH
Walton’s go-to is the fancy lunch which is a pair between half sandwich, cup of soup, or half salad for $11. The meats are roasted daily in house and they have multiple breads to choose from, making the sandwich options extremely popular. You can’t go to Walton’s without admiring their massive dessert cases filled with cheesecakes, macarons, cupcakes, and more.
COFFEE AND COCKTAILS
Also, they have one of the best lattes in the city - no joke! We opted for the vanilla bourbon iced latte, but they have other house made syrups including caramel, honey toasted almond, lavender, and golden milk. Plus, they have three options for cocktails (all offered in carafes), fabulous iced tea, wine and more.
FLORAL SHOP & GIFTS
Walton’s offers a full floral shop in the back of their deli where you can take home a custom floral arrangement, succulents, or a fresh bouquet of roses. And all around the restaurant are cute take home gifts including mugs, candles, tote bags, and coffee beans.
