When it comes to working remotely, all coffee shops are certainly not created equal. Sometimes the coffee can be divine, but the space is too small or the WIFI is lacking if not nonexistent. Here are our favorite places to put our heads down and get some work done. Oh—and the coffee is pretty great too.
Xaman Cafe is a Mexican owned and inspired coffee shop that has easily become one of our go to workspaces in Dallas over the last couple of months. They offer tons of natural light, plenty of workspace options, a killer patio and has you covered with a menu of coffee, food, drinks and pan dulce! Whether you're stopping by to work during early coffee hours or enjoying dinner and mezcal at their speakeasy, Xaman shares a fun and authentically curated experience.
The newest White Rhino location opened in Uptown in March of 2021. Their coffee options are just a fraction of their extensive menu. They offer signature and traditional drinks, hot and cold teas, breakfast, brunch, lunch and sweet treats. No matter what time of day you go, there's definitely something for you. Among the 3 other locations are Downtown Dallas, Bishop Arts and Arlington. Before you visit, make sure to sign up for Rhino Rewards via the White Rhino Coffee app to order ahead and skip the line, earning redeemable points along the way.

Nestled in the Harwood District, this cozy coffee shop gives us all the feels (especially when the temperatures dip a little). It’s dim lighting and chill atmosphere gets us in a totally focused mood that allows us to tackle our to-do list.
Needing a quick place to get some work done that is both near downtown and the Dallas Tollway? This adorable spot has been attracting the work-from-home types for years and years. Those who have yet to try their avocado toast definitely need to add that to their to do list too! They also now have locations in Downtown and at The Crescent, but for doing work, the Oak Lawn location is still our favorite!

OTTO'S COFFEE AND FINE FOOD
Otto's celebrates Viennese-style java. Located inside The Adolphus hotel, this entire property is sophisticated and regal and elevates your morning cup. Might we suggest this as the place to meet an out of towner for a meeting?
The Katy luxury apartment complex in Victory Park might seem like an odd place for us to recommend you go work. However, they transformed their extra space next to the lobby, into a beautiful minimalist coffee shop, with several tables to work. We love the tranquillity and the fact that it’s a bit of a hidden gem, so you can expect to not be squished in between two other people working too.

This East Dallas gem wins because it has the most beautiful interior that is just oozing with natural light. Not only that but there is lots of space to spread out and get work done. And whether you like your coffee hot or iced, the baristas are serving it to you fast and friendly. Also, the late closing times great for those who need to work late!

Window seat is a specialty coffee shop and eatery that seeks to capture that special feeling you get in anticipation of going on an exciting trip or vacation. No matter how you vacation (epic trips to foreign countries, staying at home with the family, relaxing at the beach), Window Seat aims to mentally transport you to that happy place. With their standard menu and seasonal rotators, there will always be a fun drink calling your name.
This independent West Village coffee shop is the perfect blend of cozy vibes and productivity. It's the quintessential neighborhood coffee shop, designed to be the place that fosters relationships. Their first priority? Community, with coffee coming in at a very close second.
Need to spread out and work or meet your team in a large, private space? Herb's conference rooms available for rent and large tables are your best friends when it comes to co-working. Their coffee and pastries will be the cherries on top of your productivity session. Oh, and make sure to enjoy the patio with an outdoor fireplace perfect for catch-up chats with old friends.

Union is more than just a local coffee shop, it's a home for a community with a passion for cause. Their inside seating area offers standard tables and a conference room available to rent, and their expansive backyard offers picnic tables, a hammock and lots of space for the pups to run around. Their coffee is delicious and the beans are grown sustainable and roasted locally. And when it comes to co-working at coffee shops, you can't find a better spot because of the TWO rooms available for rent upstairs! Choose the smaller for a table and white board, or the larger for ample space for your team for the day.

Each month, employees taste dozens of coffees from around the world to ensure they provide you with the coffee that blows you away. Whether you choose to enjoy your drink at a personal table or in their conference room available with reservation, you won't leave disappointed.
El Porton is committed to telling the journey of generations perfecting the approach to achieving the highest quality coffee beans possible. While it's great to stop by this spot for an amazing cup of coffee, they also have a private room you can rent out for work! Coworking & Coffee...the best of both worlds!
