If you’re not familiar, Four Day Weekend is a comedy troupe located just off Greenville Ave, right between Truck Yard and La La Land. It is hands down the best comedy show we’ve ever been to! Good laughs and yummy drinks? Say less!
Four Day Weekend started in Fort Worth many years ago as a group of friends with a love for comedy, and it has grown into a critically-acclaimed, nationally recognized troupe! The Dallas location has been in the biz for four years now and boasts an insanely hilarious cast. Their shows run evenings on Fridays and Saturdays and are always a great date night, group hang or night on the town!
The show is entirely based on audience suggestions and participation. Before the show starts, write down topic suggestions on index cards then watch as they get utilized throughout the show. It was incredible to watch the cast turn something so unscripted into something so funny. If you ever loved Whose Line Is It Anyway? this one’s for you. P.S. Don't be shy, sit up in the front at the red couches if you are down for the full experience!
THE EXPERIENCE
Buy tickets in advance and get to the brick theater early as seating is first come first serve! They have an array of seats, including plush red velvet couches that would be perfect for a date night experience. Once you’ve reserved your spot, walk back to the bar, grab a drink and go enjoy it out on their newly redone patio! We can’t resist a good string light situation.
Four Day Weekend is located just off the beaten path of Greenville Avenue and has its own parking, which gives them major brownie points. While they don’t have food, they’re so close to tons of great restaurants and bars for a bite before the show and some nightlife after! This truly is a great night go-to of ours.
