A new exterior, new design and new menu items! When we went to visit the new La Madeleine location across the street from Klyde Warren Park we were in awe of all the modern and up to date changes they’ve made. The classic exterior now has a more grown up look to fit city life and will be your new hang whether for some French fare or sipping a latte on the patio!

PARK DISTRICT LOCATION

PARK DISTRICT LOCATION

While some La Madeleine restaurants of times past resemble European cottages, their new location in Dallas’ park district is more of a chic cafe and market reflecting its new urban home. In fact it’s classified as a “petite market and bakery” but offers so much more! Snugly nestled between Residences at Park District and Perry’s Steakhouse, it’s location is ideal for a bite or even a remote work spot. Bordering the northeast corner of Klyde Warren Park on Olive Street, you’ll feel like you’re right in the middle of the city hub without all the noise!

NEW DESIGN

NEW DESIGN

The typical exterior that you’d expect at a La Madeleine is not what you’ll find here! This location got a major face lift and fits right in with its surrounding city neighbors. The outside is a vibrant French blue with floor to ceiling glass windows. A stylish patio is entirely covered with the high rise built on top of it complete with twinkly lights above and French style patio chairs encompassed by greenery. But there’s not just one patio, there’s actually two! Another covered patio borders the other side of the restaurant and both are dog friendly.

RESTAURANT FEATURES

RESTAURANT FEATURES

The inside is equal parts upscale French market, cozy coffee shop and darling cafe making it the perfect place to spend time or even to work remotely! Free WiFi is available and you can pretty much find an outlet at any table. Working with a view is an option if you choose to sit at the row of bar stools along the glass window overlooking the picturesque patio. Towards the back of the restaurant past a wall of dreamy French photos is a long table for small groups or a work meeting!

NEW FOOD ITEMS

NEW FOOD ITEMS

La Madeleine is owned by a French company so offerings are very authentic. The glass casings display their deliciously familiar baked goods, made-to-order sandwich selections and an impressively large variety of new grab n go items! Those seeking a quick lunch pick up can peruse premade salads, sandwiches, sides, desserts and treats before heading back to work. Not only can you order some of your traditional favorites, but the menu at the Park District location is almost entirely different with fun new additions like the charcuterie sandwich, orange cinnamon morning bun and Nutella croissant muffins.

Wine nights can now be had here or taken to go by the bottle because La Madeleine has their own line of house made wines from France and canned wines coming soon. We’re anticipating that weekend brunch will become popular here too with their array of fresh juices ready for mid-morning mimosas with your crew - cue the quiche Florentine! The French coffee drinks (including espresso of course) are always high quality and there’s tons of choices from French roast to lattes. Side note: their hot chocolate is so good, especially in the winter!

MINI MARKET

MINI MARKET

The only thing that could make this location any more homey would be a mini market, which they have! Shop some of your favorite menu items by the bottle like their salad dressings, confiture fruit spreads for all the baked goods you’ll be taking home, or their signature tomato basil soup that screams fall season! The market also has adorable home products, namely French themed coffee mugs. In addition close to the register you can add fresh fruit to your basket or a bottle of wine!

BUILD-YOUR-OWN-BASKET

BUILD-YOUR-OWN-BASKET

We’re so excited to share this idea because it’s honestly the cutest and just in time for cooler temperatures! A picnic at Klyde Warren Park sounds pretty scenic doesn’t it?! Crossing one street from La Madeleine brings to you the park so why not fill up a basket of yummy goods and take advantage! And the build-your-own-basket option makes it incredibly easy. A wire picnic basket that is totally picnic worthy is just $3.99 and yours to take home after you fill it with treats for your park picnic! Don’t forget the wine to make it an idyllic evening.
