One restaurant industry closure that hit Dallasites hard in 2020 was the nearly 30 year olds Christie's. But regulars rejoiced as Christie’s announced its return on Lower Greenville... and it is officially open!

Updated January 2021

Christie’s is your classic go-to sports bar with cheap drinks, lots of TVs, billiards and Big Buck, traditional bar food and great wings. When we visited, there wasn't anything “Instagrammable” about it, but that was part of its charm. People loved it for what it was and didn’t wish it was anything more.

Greenville Location

Sadly, the Uptown location didn't survive COVID, but it did reopen today in the former Slater’s 50/50 space in between Terilli’s and Dodie’s! The new Christie’s is bigger, more modern, and includes a rooftop bar!

What To Expect

The first level still features that massive TV upon entering with dozens more surrounding it all playing different sports channels. But the former dive atmosphere got a makeover. There are three bars and two patios, both overlooking Greenville, with games like cornhole to enjoy on the rooftop!

Food & Drink

Beyond the wings, the menu features burgers, flatbreads, mozzarella “bricks,” fried pickles and more. To drink, order one of the 16 beers on tap or try a cocktail. We continued our espresso martini tour here, and while you might be thinking, “An espresso martini at a sports bar?!,” this one is definitely worthy of being added to our best of list!! So whether you have been a longtime Christie’s fan or are a newbie, check it out soon now that it’s officially back!

BRUNCH

If you're visiting on the weekends, make sure to go in time for brunch! You can enjoy avocado egg toast, french toast sticks, breakfast tacos and more. For drinks, go big or go home with the mimosa, bloody mary or screwdriver tower!
