We can’t get over this space! Dallas-born coworking company Common Desk has officially opened their second Deep Ellum location in the 133-year-old Continental Gin Building, and it’s the coolest!

Updated March 2021

THE CONTINENTAL GIN BUILDING

The 70,000-square-foot building is a national landmark and one of the oldest structures in Dallas. The Continental Gin Building was recently restored by local real estate group August Real Estate Co. and will soon be home to various retail and restaurant destinations. Not only is the building itself stunning, but the decor and vibe are truly immaculate, filled with natural light, brick walls, industrial elements, lots of leather and plants, and more!

FIRST FLOOR

The first floor is a full-service Fiction Coffee Shop with vast lounge seating, free wifi, and more restaurant concepts coming soon! Fiction Coffee CGB is open to the public daily as a shared workspace to cross things off your to-do list or to just relax.

SECOND FLOOR

Common Desk members can head upstairs to an entire floor of comfortable seating, private offices, a VR lab, conference rooms, small to midsize offices, and a full kitchen and cocktail bar. The space is industrial, yet cozy, and each room has its own unique artistic atmosphere, such as The Florist (our favorite), a meeting room filled with beautiful dried flowers!

THIRD FLOOR

If your company is interested in more space and privacy, the third floor is a great option. This floor consists of larger team spaces available for lease, giving your company its own suite of rearrangeable desks, dedicated private offices, meeting spaces, and private kitchen and break areas. Some even have skyline views.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES

But wait, there’s more! The building is dog-friendly to Common Desk members and tenants on floors 2 and 3, has an outdoor patio and deck area, includes access to the Santa Fe trail, has on-site shower facilities, and will be hosting daily happy hours to close the workday!

This is definitely the place to be for remote work! Head to their website for more info and to request a tour!
