We are so excited to announce the opening of a new spot for all things healthy & good-for-you food, Roots Market & Juicery! Now open on Fitzhugh and 75, it’s a new go-to for snacks, meals, juices, produce & more!

Updated April 2022

ABOUT

Brent Rodgers founded Roots Juices back in 2013 on Oak Lawn. Rodgers, who worked on Wall Street before leaving to travel for a year, discovered the world of juicing. According to the Lakewood Advocate, he made his own blends that friends would request, which led to his own business! Over the years, he expanded around the metroplex, incorporating smoothies and coffee too!

And now he enters his next venture: a market with made-to-order foods, pastries, drinks and more…all plant based!

THE MARKET

Walk inside to find natural wines, quinoa-based seltzers, produce, CBD sodas, Roots Juices, enhanced waters and more. In the refrigerated space, you’ll also find grab-and-go meals like crispy vegan quinoa cakes and bucatini pasta with pesto and tomatoes.

THE CAFE

Step up and order one of many juices or smoothies filled with all sorts of healthy goodness…fruits, protein, peanut butter, bee pollen and more. There’s also toasts, pastries and coffee, and yes, everything is entirely plant based!

BEES

Head outside to find some cute seating areas and murals, and Rodgers’ bees! They’re nicer Italian bees he explained to us so we took a closer look, and it turns out, he will soon be selling the honey in stores! If you have bad allergies, eating local honey is actually a really good way to curb those sniffles so make it a stop next week to pick some up!

And make sure to visit Roots anyways, it’s a great new addition to the Central Dallas area and to our growing healthy foods movement!
