Opened in 2017, the original Haywire at Legacy West in Plano is a show-stopping, multi-level 24,000 sq. ft. steakhouse. We're now excited to share all the details of their newest location in the heart of Uptown! It's great for groups, with multiple private dining rooms, a photo-worthy patio and southern charm that radiates through the whole space!

Located in the former Water Grill, the space switched out coastal for Texas ranch. Think antler chandeliers, dark wood, Southwestern textiles, big curtains and other Texas details! It's 'Texas comfort meets urban contemporary style,' which comes through not only in the atmosphere of the restaurant but also through their food and drink! 



Enjoy the dining rooms inside, but make sure to grab a cocktail outside first! There’s a fire pit, lounge areas and the cutest renovated Shasta trailer perfect Insta pics and intimate conversations! The trailer is available for reservations and holds up to 10 people. You can book either just trailer or the adjacent terrace area to accomodate up to 40 people.



You've gotta go big or go home because it's hard to choose just one thing from their menu! Plus, they serve up a locally sourced menu with ingredients coming from 20 places around Texas! 

Start with fried green tomatoes, lump crab dip, and queso blanco! Being a steakhouse, Haywire's premium TX-raised beef can't be skipped! Steaks range from 6 to 33 ounces, dressed in various ways like black garlic bone marrow butter, cilantro-lime butter, herb jus, and creamy horseradish. If you simply aren't in a steak mood, there are several Texas plates like short rib, redsnapper, pork chops, and chicken fried chicken! Each weekday has it's own daily plate, so make sure to check the menu for the plate of the day.



Shout out to the bourbon borracho beans, frozen Texas tea (like a long island iced tea with a splash of sangria), and whiskey bread pudding! We also can't get enough of the buttermilk chive whipped potatoes or the white cheddar havarti mac & cheese -- both perfectly compliment any ranch-to-table entree!



Every Thursday they host live music from 7-10 PM on the patio, so bring your friends and enjoy the tunes! They also have happy hour every weekday from 3-6 PM, when you can enjoy $6 house wines, $5 frozen Texas tea or margarita, $1 off draft beer and $5 select bites!
