The Dallas Tennis Association's mission is to provide opportunities to improve the mental and physical well-being of the community through education and the sport of tennis for underserved youth and communities through:

WHERE TO PLAY TENNIS

Kiest Tennis Center

This Oak Cliff tennis center has eight public courts that you can reserve for $4 per person for an hour and a half. You can also rent out the courts for league use, and they have a tennis shop with all the gear you may need! All of the Dallas Tennis Education Academy (DTEA) programs are run out of Kiest, so it's one of the best spots for getting involved!

Cole Park

You can play for free at this public park in Uptown and have a good chance of finding a spot on one of their eight courts. It does get busy on the weekends, but the wait isn't usually too long -- and it's a great way to meet people!

Caruth Park

These two lit courts are perfect for a laid-back game and are free to the public. You can truly spend a whole day hanging and playing at the park, which has a beautiful pond, playgrounds, and plenty of picnic tables!

University Park | Directions

 

Fretz Tennis Center

Fretz Tennis Center is a public facility with 15 courts open to reserve for just $5 per person for 90 minutes, and you can even rent a ball machine. They also have memberships which are perfect for avid tennis players! (Pictured)

North Dallas | Directions

 

LB Houston Tennis Center

This public tennis center has 16 tennis courts that you can reserve at $5 per person for an hour and a half. They also have lessons available, and even racquet stringing services if you need any repairs!

Northwest Dallas | Directions

 

Oak Creek Tennis Center

This public facility has 12 courts and a wide range of leagues and lessons! You can pay a small fee to reserve the court, join a league, take private lessons with a pro, or just drop into a group drill class. They even offer youth lessons and camps!

Carrollton | Directions

 

Preston Hollow Park

There are no fees or reservations required at these two courts! It is first come, first served, and if you have to wait you can explore the 7-acres of the park, which include trails, picnic tables, a playground, and more.

Samuel Grand Tennis Center

This East Dallas center is open to the public with 18 outdoor courts and a small per person fee for an hour and a half. If you're really looking to up your tennis skills, they have a huge team of tennis pros there to serve you!

Stevens Park

This public golf course has two public courts with no reservation fees! It's first come, first served, and they also have professional instruction, leagues, tournaments and full-service pro shops available.

Kessler | Directions

 

The Village

These 12 courts are located within the vibrant Village community in Northeast Dallas! Residents can access the courts for free, and non-residents can pay a fee to reserve them. They also offer private lessons, open clinics, and a weeknight league, along with several bars and restaurants to check out on the property after you play!
