Neighborhood: Addison
Cuisine: Modern American with a Southwestern twist
Opening: Spring 2022
About: Coming this spring from Vandelay Hospitality aka Hudson House, Drake's and more, comes a new Aspen meets Santa Fe restaurant! Brentwood is taking over in the former Houston's space, but making some expansions such as the massive outdoor patio.
Get Excited For: The onsite bakery! Jalapeño cornbread will quickly become a favorite.
BRASS RAM & POP TOP
Neighborhood: Downtown
Cuisine: Steakhouse, Fish, Rooftop Cocktails, & More
Opening: Late 2022
About: These spots will fill out the rest of the National Anthem space! Brass Ram will be a steakhouse one floor up, and Pop Top, the rooftop patio.
Get Excited For: Brass Ram will be serving up prime rib, a variety of fish, and delicious sides — the perfect spot for a date night dinner! Pop Top will quickly become your new go-to rooftop with beautiful Downtown views and will open in later 2022.
CLIFTON CLUB
Neighborhood: Fitzhugh Avenue
Cuisine: Upscale American & Cocktail Bar
Opening: Spring 2022
About: From the owner of Beverly's, Greg Katz, comes an upscale lounge with oysters & martinis, right down the street! Clifton Club is an ode to his hometown in South Africa. Also look out for Katz's newest restaurant coming to Knox this year!
Get Excited For: A laid back social-club vibe, the perfect stop for a drink after a stroll on Katy Trail or before dinner.
District
Neighborhood: Addison
Cuisine: Wine-bar Restaurant

About: All the way from San Francisco comes an elevated yet rustic wine and whiskey bar & dinner experience! District will be located in the former Mercy Wine Bar space in Addison. The interior is a nod to its Northern Californian roots with lots of wood and rustic details.
Get Excited For: The menu will offer a variety of dishes such as seasonal scallops, flatbreads, or smoked lamb chops, and don't forget about the extensive wine and whiskey options as well!
Federales
Neighborhood: Deep Ellum
Cuisine: Mexican

About: A massive tequila & taco bar complex coming by way of Chicago! This new spot will be serving up craft cocktails, street tacos, brunch, and a stellar weekday happy hour.
Get Excited For: Their signature "Ring the Bell" experience — order a shot of tequila and then throw the frozen glass against the famous bell!
Jack Ruby's Saloon
Neighborhood: Downtown
Cuisine: American, serving up classics like pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs.
Opening: Spring 2022
About: A classic saloon & honky tonk fit with burgers, country music and history.
Get Excited For: The country saloon of your dreams. Named after the Dallas man who fatally shot Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby will be just a quick walk from Dealey Plaza.
Hide Bar
Neighborhood: Lower Greenville

About: This Deep Ellum fave is reopening on Lower Greenville hopefully this spring in the former East Social space! It has been a long time coming and we are so excited for this comeback.
Get Excited For: This is not your run-of-the-mill dining & drinking experience. you can expect unique, creative, yet approachable cocktails, and high quality food ingredients. Try their refreshing vodka cocktail made with jasmine green tea, pear brandy, lemon & lime, and vanilla bean!
La Pesca
Neighborhood: Oak Cliff

About: From the group that brought us Yellow Rosa, comes a Sinaloa seafood spot on Jefferson Blvd in Oak Cliff, where you choose your fresh fish, and have it cooked to your liking!
Get Excited For: Be on the look out for 3 more concepts this year too involving a patio, pizza and hotdogs!
Loro
Neighborhood: Addison at Prestonwood
Cuisine: Asian Smokehouse

About: The restaurant taking Texas by storm — the Austin-based Asian smokehouse will open their fourth location in Addison! The restuarant focuses on shared bites such as crunchy sweet Corn Fritters or Chicken Karaage, which are super similiar to chicken nuggets. This is a great spot to hit up with a group of friends!
Get Excited For: Did you know Loro has a killer weekday happy hour? From 2-6pm, you can enjoy specially priced bites and drinks. Plus check out the Orange Margarita next time you go!
Mike's Chicken
Neighborhood: North Dallas
Cuisine: Fried Chicken

About: Beloved fried chicken, Mike’s will open a second location in North Dallas off of Forest Lane & 75 this spring. Mike's offers all things fried chicken from chicken tenders to a fried chicken sandwhich- you cannot go wrong with any of these!
Get Excited For: Don't forget to try Mike's Buffalo Sauce! The peanut-based sauce is a must and should definitely be on your radar next time you go to Mike's!
ODELAY
Neighborhood: Lovers Lane
Cuisine: Tex-Mex

About: From Julian Barsotti of Nonna, Fachini & other Italian staples, comes a Tex-Mex joint on Lovers Lane. The hacienda-style restaurant will be serving up classics including house-made tortillas, chicken fried steak, fresh guacamole & salsa, and of course margaritas.
Get Excited For: Expect a Palm Springs-inspired vibe with a massive patio, U-shaped bar, and 90's-inspired tunes.
Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar
Neighborhood: Knox
Cuisine: Seafood
Opening: Fall/ Winter 2022
About: Knox is about to get another great restaurant in the new Weir's building. From the team that brought you Beverly's and Clifton Club, this seafood spot will be serving cocktails and comforting dishes seven days a week.
Get Excited For: The patio — this restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating and a large bar!
Truck Yard Fort Worth
Neighborhood: Fort Worth
Cuisine: Beer Garden & Food Trucks

About: Dallas hotspot, Truck Yard, is opening in Fort Worth on a two acre property filled with bars, food trucks, and a dog patio!
Get Excited For: The new location will include a 38 ft ferris wheel and huge barn with multiple stages!
Three New Duro Hospitality Spots
Neighborhood: Knox, Lower Greenville, and Design District
Opening: TBA
About: While details are slim, owners of Sister & The Charles will open a restaurant in the Highland Park Pharmacy building, a market next-door to Sister, and another restaurant near The Charles!
Get Excited For: While few details have been released about any of the spots yet, if we know anything about Duro Hospitality we can expect divine food and incredible vibes.
Carbone
Neighborhood: Design District
Cuisine: Italian

About: The iconic Michelin-starred NYC-based Italian restaurant is coming to Dallas and we couldn't be more excited! Fun fact: Carbone is owned by the same company that will be opening Sadelle's in Highland Park Village.
Get Excited For: Their famous spicy rigatoni vodka! Carbone is known for their Italian dishes made with red sauce and also their seasonal menu finds. We cannot wait to try out this highly anticipated restaurant!
Sadelle's
Neighborhood: Highland Park

About: Another well-known spot from Major Food Group, Sadelle's, is an iconic brunch spot from Soho and will be taking over the former Royal Blue Grocery space in Highland Park Village.
Get Excited For: This new brunch spot will be serving up their famous smoked fish and home-made bagel stack! You'll also be able to order items like avocado toast and delicious baked goods such a cream cheese Danishes.
Touissant
Neighborhood: Downtown
Cuisine: French
Opening: Spring 2022
About: You will find upscale French meets Asian cuisine at this restaurant and market place, with a relaxed atmosphere and ingredient-driven fare. Opening in the current Cambria Downtown Dallas, soon to be Renaissance Hotel Saint Elm.
Get Excited For: Trouissant Market Place will be a more casual to-go option for all day coffee, decadent pastries, and late night cocktails!
Quince
Neighborhood: Fort Worth

About: This restaurant originally from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico will bring coastal vibes and a chic, but casual atmosphere to Fort Worth.
Get Excited For: The owner of Quince is a TCU graduate and is excited to bring the famous rooftop back home. The resturant will open in the WestBend's development on the Trinity River.
Brunchaholics
Neighborhood: Old East Dallas
Cuisine: American- think Chicken and Waffles and Shrimp & Grits!
Opening: Online ordering and drive-thru options are now available. Indoor dining will open Spring 2022
About: This over the top in all the best ways brunch spot, previously a pop-up around Dallas, will be opening its own space in Old East Dallas! You'll be able to order the classics like the Shrimp & Grits burrito plus more dishes like the crabby patty (a waffle with a crab cake on top)!
The 101: Don't forget to order dessert — they are made by the Cobbler Gobbler and look incredible!
Lombardi Cucina Italiana
Neighborhood: The Star in Frisco
Cuisine: Italian
Opening: February 2022
About: From the Lombardi Family Concepts group, this restaurant opening at The Star in Frisco will bring you straight to Italy with locally-sourced ingredients and hand-crafted cocktails.
The 101: Finish dinner off with an Espresso Martini! These are the famous Espresso Martinis from Bistro 31 and Lounge 31. If espresso is not your thing, do not worry! There are many craft cocktail options!
Tatsu
Neighborhood: Deep Ellum
Cuisine: Sushi

About: Dallas is getting another great sushi spot, opening in Deep Ellum soon! Tatsu will be located in the newly-restored Continental Gin building.
Get Excited For: An edomae style sushi experience! The fish is cured rathering than served fresh at this edomae style restaurant. Tatsu is an omakase-style sushi meaning that there is also no set menu- it is up to the chef that day and the interaction with customers! We cannot wait for Texas to get this New York favorite!
Etta
Neighborhood: East Quarter

Opening: August 2021
About: Chef Danny Grant brings his highly-rated neighborhood Italian joint to Dallas' East Quarter. This two-story restaurant will have an upstairs patio (a Dallasite's dream)
Get Excited For: Etta's menu will be thoughtful to the season. Think fresh farm salads, woodfire pizzas & breads, and tons more delicious dishes.
Bacari Tabu
