They have a wide variety of plants that need to be watered only 1-2 times a week. Try the Monstera, ZZ Plants, Sansevieiria, Birdsnest Fern, Aloe, Pothos or Spider Plant! Most of these also only need medium light, so they really are low maintenance.
The Texas heat just adds to the challenge of having a green thumb. but the plants mentioned above make for perfect summer plants. Walton's also has a wall of succulents, cacti and other small plants that need truly minimal upkeep. They love the shade and require watering only every so often. During the spooky season, this White Rock nursery has pumpkins galore from succulent pumpkins to jack o lantern worthy sizes! And soon after, Christmas trees start popping up ranging in size from mini to 11 ft! They sell three varieties of trees that are shipped in from Oregon. Inside the garden shop, they sell holiday decor from tableware to ornaments and more!

If you're in the market to learn more about planting, check out the workshops offered at Walton's! In the past they have had an Intro to House Plants Class where they taught the basics needs of houseplants, like lighting and watering. They also offer more specific classes like the Orchid class, where you walk away with a new orchid and a lot of new knowledge!
