Opened by Willis back in 2018, she’s also the head chef and aims to bring the neighborhood a place where they can enjoy conversation for hours, over plates of French inspired foods and wines. If you’re curious about the name, it’s a bible verse from Romans 12:20 “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink."
The blue-walled, white table-clothed restaurant offers a seasonal menu, which currently features a lobster risotto, braised short ribs, honey and lavender half chicken & more. They also have an amazing brunch menu with a brie board, quiche, poutine, and more French breakfast items! Pair brunch with one of a dozen Aperitifs/Digestifs for $8 including an Aperol Spritz, Lillet Blanc or Rouge, Suze, Amaro and more!
TUESDAY’S HALF PRICE BOTTLES OF WINE
The wine list at RM 12:20 Bistro is spectacular. Tuesday night’s you can score your favorite wine—or try a new one— and get half of the bottle! Their patio is a cute, shady spot to enjoy a wine night! If you like chardonnay, make sure to try the Cave De Lugny Macon.
WEDNESDAY BURGER SPECIAL
Make sure to stop by on a Wednesday to get the $9 Burger & Frites Special! The burger has brie, arugula, and caramelized onions for that French flare and is delicious. Great option for a quick dinner to-go.
ADULTS-ONLY DATE NIGHT SPOT
Whenever people ask us for kid-friendly restaurant recs, we send them over to Lake Highlands...it’s one of the most kid friendly neighborhoods with many restaurants offering toys, playgrounds etc but RM 12:20 Bistro takes a different approach. Leave your kids at home for this dining experience that airs more on the formal side! It’s a nice escape for parents, but also for anyone looking for a sophisticated ambience.
