ABOUT

Hawkers started over a decade ago in Florida, when four best friends with familial roots in Asia, wanted to bring their love for food and culture to life with Hawkers! It gets its name from the “hawking,” or calling out, nature of Asian street vendors.

VIBES

Art murals, Asian-inspired decor, a huge patio with outdoor games, an open kitchen, good music and more fills up the Hawkers space! They fit right into the Deep Ellum community with their fun, edgy and vibrant dining experience. When you walk in, find a semi-dark space with art plastered everywhere, with booths, a bar in the middle and lots of different types of seating making Hawkers a great spot for groups or pre-nightlife dining.

The patio makes up almost half the entire restaurant, overlooking Crowdus for an energetic and activity-forward spot to spend the weekend hanging out!

FOOD + DRINK

The menu is all about Asian street fare which you’ll see in their signature dishes like their roti canai, pad thai, street skewers, and yaki udon. Many are actually based on recipes passed down from generation to generation, but they also offer a more modern twist on the classics! Try the Korean twice-fried wings and kimchi fried rice, and pair your meal with one of their creative signature cocktails like the Tiki, Do You Love Me or That’s My Bag, Baby, their version of an adult Capri Sun!

Plus, they have an Asian-inspired weekend brunch menu which includes items such as Coconut Curry Eggs Benedict, Pandan Kaya Pancakes and signature cocktails like On Cloud Wine, which includes a glass of rose topped with cotton candy! Oh, and bottomless mimosas as well!
