JALISCO NORTE
To us, Jalisco Norte is one of the most underrated Mexican restaurants in Dallas. It’s nestled in the Turtle Creek Village shopping center but totally doesn’t feel that way at all! Not only is the cuisine authentic but the space is super airy and definitely adds to the colorful Mexican aesthetic, including the tree house dining room filled with plants and floor to ceiling windows!
Born and raised in Mexico, Chef Jose Meza combines his roots with his experience at some of the world’s most fabulous restaurants like Martin Berasateugui in Spain and NOMA in Denmark. Our favorite dishes include the queso fundido, milpa (fried Brussels sprouts in a corn and Serrano sauce), Birria tacos, halibut al pastor with pineapple puree, and the crab enchiladas!
DRINKS
The drinks pair perfectly with the bright aesthetic as they are served in colorful glassware! Try one of the 3 ranch waters, the pineapple-jalapeno marg, or one of the 4 specialty cocktails including a Smoke Show with mezcal!
HAPPY HOUR
It’s a perfect happy hour with tons of food and drinks options! Join them Tuesday-Friday from 4-6pm for $4 beers, $6 select cocktails, $8 select wines, $2 birria and carnitas tacos, and $5-$10 snacks, dips, and small plates!
