Long-awaited healthy salad and bowl chain sweetgreen has officially debuted its first location in DFW in West Village! After trying sweetgreen in New York we have been waiting for this day because the hype is real!

Updated December 2021

SWEETGREEN

sweetgreen was founded in D.C in 2007 by 3 friends who realized they didn’t have access to fast and convenient healthy food options. It has since become a cult-favorite in states like New York and California and now Texas! The brand not only focuses on healthy and convenient meals but is also committed to being more sustainable and becoming carbon neutral by the end of 2027!

THE MENU

The menu is a mix of warm bowls and salads, all packed with tons of veggies, proteins and delicious dressings! For warms bowls you’ll find options like the curry cauliflower bowl or fan-favorite harvest bowl with chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, almonds, wild rice, kale and balsamic vinaigrette! For salads they have options like the chicken + brussels, kale caesar and super green goddess. It’s the perfect place for a fast and healthy meal!

LOCAL INGREDIENTS

You can also expect tons of locally sourced ingredients in their dishes from all around Texas including bread from Empire Baking Company, romaine from Fredericksburg Peach Co. and tomatoes from Village Harvest in Marfa, Texas!

LOCATION

Find the first ever DFW location on McKinney Avenue in West Village across from Soulcycle but there are already talks of more Dallas locations to come! The concept is fast-casual but you can expect longer lines than usual as people have been anticipating the opening since they announced the location back in March - but we promise the wait is worth it!
